- ➤ The 2026 Faces of Siouxland Multicultural Fair will take place on March 29 at the Sioux City Convention Center—801 Fourth St., offering a day of cultural displays and community activities. Sioux City Journal
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Sioux City's school board accepted Dr. Juan Cordova’s mutual resignation on Jan. 5. He will remain on paid administrative leave until March 31 unless he finds new employment before then — the district will cover his insurance premiums until June. KTIV
- ➤ Sioux City Community School District is discussing whether to extend dual language instruction to all elementary and middle schools, aiming to offer broader language options for students in the future. Sioux City Journal
