  • Brian Fernando and Dr. Patrick Saulsbury will share their paleontology adventures from the Hell Creek Formation in South Dakota at Pecaut Nature Center, 4500 Sioux on Jan. 24 from 1-3 p.m.  Sioux City Journal

  • Iowa National Guard Major General Stephen Osborn delivered his Condition of the Guard speech on Jan. 15 - honoring two local soldiers killed in Syria and explaining why Guardsmen are deployed.   • Kingsley Specialty Care celebrated 60 years of serving 31 residents from across Siouxland on Thursday, Jan. 15—marking a milestone since opening as Broadlawn Manor in 1965. Community support remains strong for the rural facility that continues to offer skilled therapy and hospice care.  KTIV
