- ➤ World-famous Yuengling beer is coming to Siouxland as local stores prepare to stock it soon, and residents can look forward to enjoying the brew at select retailers. Sioux City Journal

- ➤ The Art Center is launching a $5M endowment to fund indoor exhibitions and community projects, with five or six local artists contacted for upcoming displays. Director Todd Behrens said the initiative will create new opportunities for art in the area. Sioux City Journal
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Students from Northwestern College earned regional honors at Region Five ACTF held Jan. 18 to 24 in Rochester, Minnesota. Senior Melissa Thompson won first in projection design, two other students earned design awards & junior AJ Zinn received the Heart of the Arts Award. Sioux Country Radio
- ➤ Dordt University announced its new online Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner program set to enroll its first cohort in fall 2026. The program offers flexible tracks for working nurses with 750 clinical hours & 48.5 credits to prepare them for advanced roles in primary care. Sioux Country Radio
