- ➤ Sioux City's Friends of the Public Library has collected over 1,400 boxes of donated books for its Book Lovers' Book Sale, which will start at 4 p.m. April 24 and will run through May 3 at Southern Hills Mall—located at 4400 Sergeant Road in a space formerly occupied by Chuck-E-Cheese and Maude's Pizza. The sale will fund summer reading programs and offer a range of books and media for all ages. Sioux City Journal
