  • ➤ Sioux City will host the second annual Let's Get Lao'd Food Festival at Marquee on Saturday where Siouxland's best Laotian cooks will serve colorful and tasty dishes.  Sioux City Journal

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • ➤ Sioux City Council is voting today on a new fee schedule for marina slip and lift rentals that will raise rates by about 10% to keep pace with inflation and cover repair costs. The council will also vote on allowing a license plate reader on Old Lakeport Road—an aid for Sergeant Bluff police investigations.  Sioux City Journal
