- ➤ Senator Joni Ernst urged the Air Force on May 2 to update the runways at Sioux City's 185th Air Refueling Wing—calling for longer and more reinforced surfaces to ensure the base is treated as an equal partner in military operations. SiouxlandProud
- ➤ Sioux Center road crews replaced a water main on Highway 75 from 5th St. S to 2nd St. N and will soon remove pavement and upgrade sewer and storm sewer to improve the highway.
