- ➤ Sioux City Food Truck Fridays will return for a 13-week season starting June 5 through August 21 at its original spot on 4th and Jones Streets. Trucks serve food from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and Amera Senior Living offers patio seating (or takeout options). KTIV

- ➤ Siouxland Youth Wind Ensemble will hold its season-ending concert featuring local young musicians. The concert promises to celebrate the season and offer a chance for community members to support emerging talent — details on the date and venue will be provided soon. Sioux City Journal
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Dordt University freshman Ashley Torner has been selected to compete in the People’s Artist Competition, a global showcase for emerging artists. She almost skipped applying after finding the contest on social media but was encouraged by faculty to submit her work. KTIV
