Good morning, Sioux City.

Sioux Honey has proposed a $130M expansion plan that could see the company relocate near Sioux Gateway Airport.

City documents indicate the project will boost local operations.

For the week of Dec. 11 to 17, regular unleaded gas dropped 5 cents to $2.48 statewide, marking a decrease from last week’s average and potentially easing budget concerns & commute costs for local drivers.

Sioux City officials advise residents to dispose of live Christmas trees only when they have been cleaned of decorations — including ornaments, tinsel, lights, price tags, stands and plastic bags.

Residents should follow these guidelines when taking trees to designated drop-off sites.
